General information
I was born in Ioannina in May 1984.
I graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2009 (duration of studies 6 years).
I completed my military service, as a soldier medic in the 294 Battalion of the National Guard in Rhodes & in the 217 KIXNE in Perama Ioannina in 2010.
I completed the Field Service (Agricultural) in Dervisiana in the period 2011-2012
During my studies and after I was a teaching assistant at the Anatomy-Histology-Embryology Laboratory of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina .
In 2019, I completed my PhD thesis entitled " Anatomical study and biomechanical analysis of the cathetic ligaments of the patella and their relation to the dislocation of the patella" and received the title of Doctor of Medicine of the University of Ioannina, with a grade of "Excellent".

Specialty-Education:
After a year of residency in General Surgery at Preveza General Hospital (2012-2013), I started my specialization in Orthopedics & Traumatology at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina (2014) and then at Argolis General Hospital (2014-2016). In 2016, I continued my specialization at the "Red Cross" University of Athens (2016-2017) & then at the Athens University "O Evangelismos" where I completed my specialization in 2020 (I received the title of Orthopedic Surgeon & Traumatologist).
During my residency I worked with the Orthopedic Clinic of the 251st Air Force (2018-2020)
In the period 2019-2020 I worked as a specialist in Pediatric Orthopedics at the National University of Athens "KAT"
I actively participated as a surgeon in many surgeries and gained a lot of experience in the treatment of multiple traumas and fractures (Athens General Hospital "O Evangelismos"-"Red Cross" & Argolis General Hospital). I also gained a lot of experience in Reconstructive surgery (total arthroplasties) and in Arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery (251 GN Aeroporias & GN Argolidas).

Specialization - Retraining abroad
I trained in the treatment of multiple trauma at the internationally renowned Trauma Center Leeds General Infirmary, in the United Kingdom under the guidance of Professor P. Giannoudis & N. Kanakaris (Trauma Clinical Fellow)
I worked as a locum physician at Leeds General Infirmary & Bradford Royal Infirmary, UK (where I took my first steps in arthroscopic surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow).
In 2018, I received a scholarship from the "Stavros Niarchos" foundation and retrained as an Academic Fellow at the internationally renowned " Hospital for Special Surgery", in New York, USA . There I studied alongside leading surgeons Thomas Sculco & Peter Sculco, in reconstructive surgery of the hip, knee & shoulder. I also had the opportunity to train in the department of sports injuries (Arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, hip). I have participated in cadaver training seminars and the annual Reconstructive Hip & Knee Symposium in Manhattan, New York as well as the Niarchos Cross Orthopedic Seminar at the Hospital for Special Surgery. As a fellow I maintain open communication with the Hospital for Special Surgery, and I still participate in morning seminars of the institution.
In the period 2021-2022 I completed my specialization in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery (Arthroscopic and Reconstructive surgery) at the Elective Orthopedic Center in Canterbury, UK (East Kent) , next to Professor and Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon Mr. Georgios Arealis.

In 2022 I started my collaboration as a scientific associate of the Pediatric Orthopedic Department of the IASO Private Hospital & in 2023 with the ST Orthopedic Clinic of the Errikos Dunan Private Hospital.
